Refund Policy (Global – Enterprise Compliance Framework)

Cameralux is an online platform that enables live and on-demand connections between users and independent content creators (“Models”). Cameralux does not host content directly but provides access to services offered by independent third parties.

All services are digital, instantly accessible, and highly subjective. Because of these traits, transactions are generally final and non-refundable, except in specific cases outlined here or as required by law.

1. Nature of Services and Platform Limitations

Users explicitly acknowledge that:

  • All services are delivered live or in immediate digital form
  • Models operate as independent contractors, not as employees of Cameralux
  • Cameralux does not oversee, control, or guarantee the conduct of Models
  • Experiences depend on user expectations and the interaction with Models

Due to this setup, Cameralux can’t promise outcomes, satisfaction, or consistent performance.

Personal dissatisfaction, including unmet expectations or preferences, does not qualify for a refund.

2. General Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only granted under objectively verifiable situations.

Valid cases include:

  • Platform outages or technical failures blocking service access
  • System glitches causing incorrect token deductions
  • Documented failure by a Model to deliver an explicitly agreed-upon service

All claims need supporting evidence and are subject to internal review.

3. Advanced Service Scenarios

Refund eligibility is assessed based on practical usage:

  • Connection Interruptions: Partial refunds may apply if caused by Cameralux’s infrastructure
  • User Network Issues: No refunds if caused by the user’s device or internet
  • Model Disconnects: Considered based on session length and context
  • Partial Sessions: Partial refunds proportionate to unused time
  • Interactive Disputes: No refunds for subjective disagreements

4. Payment Processing Scenarios

The following payment situations are covered:

  • Duplicate Charges: Eligible for full refund after verification
  • Pending Transactions: Often resolved automatically depending on provider
  • Authorization vs Capture: Holds are temporary and not charges
  • Delayed Settlements: Depend on payment provider’s processing times

Cameralux is not liable for delays or errors caused by banks or financial institutions.

5. Refund Request Procedure

Refund requests must be lodged within 72 hours (3 days) of the transaction.

Requests should include sufficient details to enable investigation.

Claims need to be submitted via:

Contact Form

Late claims may be declined.

6. Refund Calculation Framework

Approved refunds are calculated based on:

  • Session duration
  • Tokens used
  • Service availability

Types of refunds include:

  • Full refund (rare)
  • Partial refund (pro-rata)
  • Platform credit

Cameralux retains sole discretion over refund decisions.

7. Subscription and Recurring Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Users are responsible for:

  • Managing their subscription preferences
  • Cancelling prior to renewal

No refunds are given for:

  • Unused subscription periods
  • Missed cancellations
  • Partially used services

8. Non-Refundable Transactions

  • Completed live sessions
  • Recorded shows and premium content
  • Partially used token bundles
  • Cryptocurrency payments

9. Chargebacks and Fraud Prevention

Chargebacks or actions blocking payments are viewed as fraudulent.

Examples include:

  • Disputing valid purchases after use
  • Repeated refund abuse
  • Unauthorized claims post-participation

Consequences include:

  • Immediate account termination
  • Permanent bans
  • Recovery of losses
  • Reporting to payment processors and authorities

Users are liable for:

  • Chargeback fees
  • Administrative expenses
  • Investigation costs

10. Refund Requests via Banks

Raising disputes through banks without contacting Cameralux first may lead to account suspension.

Users should try resolving issues via Cameralux Support before escalating.

11. Jurisdictional Consumer Rights

This policy does not override mandatory consumer protections.

Local laws supersede where applicable.

12. European Union and United Kingdom

By buying digital services:

  • Users consent to immediate service delivery
  • Users waive withdrawal rights once service starts

13. Brazil

The 7-day cooling-off period applies only before service use.

Once accessed, the right to cancel may no longer apply.

14. Australia

Refund policies align with Australian consumer law.

Given the digital nature, refunds remain limited.

15. Fraud Monitoring and Risk Control

Cameralux employs advanced tools to spot abuse:

  • Behavioural analysis
  • Transaction tracking
  • Risk scoring

Suspicious activity may result in restrictions or account closure.

16. Limitation of Liability

Cameralux is not responsible for:

  • User dissatisfaction
  • Model conduct
  • Technical disruptions
  • Third-party payment issues

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

17. Indemnification

Users agree to hold Cameralux harmless from any claims or damages due to misuse or policy breaches.

18. Final Statement

Cameralux upholds a fair but strict refund system balancing user protection and fraud prevention.

By using the Platform, you agree to this Refund Policy.

Important: Models are under no obligation to fulfil every user request.
